Open concept split level

We removed walls, closets, doors for two rooms. Replaced them with flush beams to support the roof rafters. Then we framed in pocket doors to the existing bathrooms, installed glass doors, trimmed it out, painted throughout. After opening the walls up we found poor electrical connections, poor insulation and mold caused from the poor insulation. As an added feature, to eliminate the railing costs we built this decorative kneewall on either side of the stairwell.
